“This blog is where I plan to talk, vent, whine, celebrate, yell, discuss, and contemplate about my daughters adoption. And some adoption issues in general. I’m sure I will talk about a lot more, but if it were not for her adoption, I wouldn’t be here doing any of this so I’ll give credit where credit is due.”
Well that’s what I wrote last September as I started this blog…in the past six months I’ve stayed more or less true to this. I’ve definitely talked, vented, and whined, and I’m pleased to admit that I’ve celebrated as well.
I’m very interested in tackling adoption issues in general now….my own story is interesting to ME but it doesn’t serve any sort of bigger purpose. And for those that tell me it does, well, I’m still getting used to that idea…
I’ve also really expanded on my non-adoption issues, but then when you’re a firstmom, doesn’t everything somehow become an adoption issue? I can find the adoption issue in almost ever post, even when I’m trying to avoid them. If it’s not clearly written, trust me, it was an underlying factor in whatever I did. Because some days I want to escape and other days I want to dwell, but everyday I am and will be a firstmom.

I wanted to let you know that I posted in my blog (http://www.krississippi.com/?p=458) and referenced your blog. If you feel at all uncomfortable let me know and I’ll password it. I hope you won’t, though.

I’ve been following your blog, and ‘know’ you through a.com. I’d love to see the video, too, if you’re comfortable sending the password. Thanks!
