So I was tagged - and really, I was going to write this whole “Love Thursday” type post, because I was thinking I hadn’t done a very good job feeling the love recently…so I made a list of the things I was going to write about last night, but I’m still a little bummed about stuff, so this might be easier on my frazzled little brain

Plus it sounds good. So here we go

Favorite person (outside family)? That’s a tough one…Dang it, this is already harder than I thought! I guess I’ll say my oldest friend – she gets me.

Favorite food? Oh I’m so hungry right now that this isn’t even fair! I love, love, love food – but living in SoCal and having awesome Mexican food around I think that’s maybe gotta take it….

Quirks about you? I hate feet. See the last time I got tagged….

How would the person who loves you most describe you in ten words or less? Okay, in one of the great pathetic things in my life, this person is probably my Mom or Dad or sister or something. Truly. And most of the time they would say, “She’s loud and annoying but we love her anyway.” That’s nine.

Any regrets in life? Yeah, I’m not afraid to say that I wish I had made different decisions on some things, but we are where we are and I’m good with that.

Favorite Charity/ Cause? I probably have to say the organization for which I work (and side note: I did vent a lot about hating my job yesterday, but the truth is, I LOVE where I work and what my organization does. I think we’re amazing. I just work on a sucky side of it for bad people. But the organization? Is AWESOME. If you know who I work for, you know what I mean - if you don’t - trust me. You’d like us) 

Favorite Blog recently? Tragically, I’ve had a very limited amount of time to read recently due to my computer situation…that and I can’t pick favorites

Something you can’t get enough of? Vacation. Time off. Weekends.

Worst job you’ve ever had? I have a hands down winner in this competition. Seriously. I’ve beat everyone I’ve ever met in the “worst job” gripe competition. However, it’s very specific and I’ve never met anyone that does anything CLOSE to this – so, in the interest of anonymity I can’t even bring myself to talk about it. But believe me – it’s BAD. And it would take probably a whole blog to explain properly.

What job would you pay NOT to have? That last one I had. Okay, one clue. It was disgusting and involved urine. Not human urine by the way. Seriously. It was bad.

Favorite Bible verse right now? I don’t have a favorite bible verse.

Guilty Pleasure? I feel no guilt over any of my pleasures!

Got any confessions? My confession? I placed a daughter for adoption (my IRL confession) No one  knows that so it would be a huge confession. <– Took the last answer and modified it just a tad. My bloggy confession? Hmmm.

If you HAD to spend $1,000 on YOURSELF, how would you spend it?
Shopping spree. Easy.

Favorite thing about your house? The big window and balcony. That it’s open and airy and close to the ocean…I want to be there right now!

Least favorite thing about your house? My puppies can’t live there with me

One thing you’re good at? Apparently cooking!! Who knew??

If you could change something about your circumstances, what? I wish I didn’t have work. Honestly. I would love to just be able to be…….me. No pressure, No bullshit. Just do the things I truely love. It’ll never happen, unless we win the lottery or something. <– Yep, totally stealing this answer.

Who would you like to meet someday? Neil Patrick Harris. I love him. OH! And my cyber friends that I haven’t met!!! I just figure that’s going to happen so it doesn’t seem like some far fetched dream I have to think about! Doh!

What makes you feel sexy? Shoes. Dresses. Clothes. I’m easy

Who is your real life hero? I don’t know…that’s bad huh? I should probably have one….

What is the hardest part of your job? Being underappreciated and not respected by the people I work for.

When are you most relaxed? Laying on my couch with a book. Ah…ideally however? Laying on a hammock somewhere tropical with said book. And a drink. With an umbrella.

What stresses you out? My job…..lol see a running theme here?? <– And my running theme of stealing answers?? haha

What can you not live without? My cell phone. Chapstick.

Do you agree or disagree with the recent article that reported that blogs are authored by narcissists? Well, I haven’t read the article, but I think it’s probably true for some kinds of blogs…I think people that blog out of trauma or shared experiences or as a means to process things however are not blogging out of a narcissistic tendency.

Why do you blog? I was encouraged to as a way to record thoughts, partially for Cupcake, so I’ll be able to share this part of my journey with her if/when she wants to know. And now because I like it. Because it keeps me in contact with some peeps, and gives me something to do
