So I submitted to peer pressure and decided to enter the world of Blogging.

I have no idea what I’m doing, only why I’m doing it.

I’ve had a hard time saying what I want to say to the people I need to say it to, so rather than not say it at all, I’ll say it to no one in particular. Instead of explaining the past, I’m going to just start in the present, and if you know me and come across this blog, you’ll know what I’m talking about. If you don’t know me, you can try to catch up and put together the peices of the present that I’m sure will clue you in to a great deal of the past.

But just so there’s not too much to figure out, the basics: I have a daughter. I gave birth to her at home. Since the day she was born, in real life, I have spoken to three people about her. Two social workers and another birthmom. I’m a birthmom. My daughter was placed for adoption. My choice.

There’s of course a lot of other things that contribute to who I am, but this is the one that I have the hardest time navigating, and will surely talk about the most. (See: whine about the most). So read on if you really want to, I can’t promise it will be entertaining or even interesting, but it will be here. And probably often, even though I should really be working…
